So, i did a little research into the 12a rating on the film Avatar, and it seems that 5 year olds are allowed to get in to see it. However, im not sure that my 5 year old sister could sit through a 2 hour long film, as well as keep the 3D glasses on. What do you think i should do?
no. 5 year olds have short attention spans she wouldnt appreciate it. the colours are beautiful but she may get scared by the creatures and the violence. its also a really long movie. i think something like cloudy with a chance of meatballs might be better.
A friend of mine who hasn’t seen the film yet wants to know what other film you could compare Avatar with. She isn’t too keen on seeing it, but is there a film that you could say it is similar too or films!
It’s hard to come up with a movie to compare to this. Maybe The Dark Crystal. Or the end of Contact.

In just 20 days James Cameron’s Avatar has become the 2nd highest-grossing film of all time with over $1.1 billion. The highest grossing film (James Cameron’s Titanic) made over $1.8 billion. Could it be possible for Avatar to continue on it’s amazing streak and become the highest-grossing film of all time (not adjusted for inflation)?
Yes. Maybe.
If it does continue at this rate, then it’s definitely a possibility. It has only been about three weeks, and so many people are going to see it multiple times.
I almost hope it does, because, in all honesty, I prefer Avatar over Titanic, because I’m more of sci-fi/fantasy person. Either way, James Cameron will have the top spot.

I saw my friend edit her picture then her face become like the avatar in the film. I would like to edit my picture as well but I don’t know what application or photo editor that she used and she also refused to tell me :l if you guys could help me , please tell me the website that we can edit our picture to become like the Avatar
That is not an easy job to do well, and you’ll need a GOOD editor such as Photoshop or at least Photoshop Elements.
Then you’ll need to spend a whole lot of time learning how to do it.
